DR. ELLIE KWON, BOARD-CERTIFIED PEDIATRIC DENTIST
Dr. Ellie Kwon is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to helping children feel comfortable, confident, and cared for at the dentist.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of the Pacific, Dr. Ellie moved to San Francisco to attend the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors. She discovered her passion for caring for children and continued her training in pediatric dentistry at BronxCare Health System, where she served as chief resident and earned her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ellie received the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, a distinguished national award given to candidates who score in the top 3% on the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry written board exam. Dr. Ellie later worked as an attending pediatric dentist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania, where she cared for children with diverse dental, medical, developmental, and behavioral needs. These experiences shaped her thoughtful and individualized approach to pediatric dental care. At Mint Kids Dentistry, Dr. Ellie believes in meeting each child where they are. She provides comprehensive, patient-centered care using both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic advanced behavior guidance when appropriate. Her calm, gentle, and friendly manner helps children feel at ease and allows families to feel supported throughout their child’s dental journey. In her spare time, Dr. Ellie enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family. |
